Join our construction team as a Mechanical Field Engineer supporting a combined cycle power project. In this role, you will help keep field activities moving in alignment with project contract specifications and technical requirements. You will serve as a key connection between engineering, construction leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives, helping resolve technical questions, support field execution, and ensure work is completed to quality standards noted in specifications, contracts, and drawings. This role supports mechanical piping and equipment installation activities for gas-fired power generation projects at combined cycle facilities. You will work closely with home office engineering, vendor technical advisors, OEM representatives, subcontractors, and client teams to help ensure equipment deliveries, technical support, and field activities are aligned with the specifications and drawings. You will provide technical guidance by interpreting design drawings, specifications, and project requirements, while helping subcontractors understand the overall design intent. You will monitor assigned subcontractors for compliance with technical requirements and support timely resolution of field questions to reduce delays and keep construction progressing. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with the Field Subcontract Manager, preparing daily site reports, completing quantity take-offs to support planning and invoice review, maintaining conformed-to-construction drawing markups and project records, and responding to Contractor Information Requests and Requests for Information.
