About The Position

This internship is for individuals interested in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, with a preference for those with SolidWorks or CAD experience. The role involves hands-on assembly, CAD work, documentation, and engineering testing, providing real-world engineering experience. Successful completion may lead to a continuation of the internship at the SurePoint Innovation Center in Manhattan, KS, starting in August. Interns are expected to support Sure Point Ag's overall goals through collaboration, teamwork, and communication.

Requirements

• Interest in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
• Exceptional communication and writing ability with co-workers and customers via software, Microsoft Office, phone, e-mail, and interpersonal dialog
• Learn SurePoint Ag Systems’ software and system processes
• Learn SurePoint Ag Systems’ products and services
• Ability to gain knowledge through experiential learning
• Ability to evaluate a situation, determine possible solutions, and implement the solution determined to be the best course of action
• Self-starter
• Embrace a dynamic and constantly changing workplace
• Basic computer skills required

Nice To Haves

• SolidWorks or CAD experience
• Undergraduates Preferred
