About The Position
Carrier is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support research and engineering activities involving heat exchanger and thermal management technologies. The intern will contribute to the analysis, modeling, testing, and evaluation of heat transfer systems and apply knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics to HVAC and refrigeration technologies. The role includes engineering modeling, simulation, and analysis in heat transfer and thermal sciences; supporting laboratory testing and experimental data collection; and analyzing results and communicating technical findings.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in any engineering field.
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Foundational knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC systems.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Excel, MATLAB, EES, Python, CAD, or similar software.
