What You Will Do You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving to perform mechanical design and development activities. You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions. What You Will Learn The PCAS organization provides ample opportunities for hands-on hardware work. PCAS engineers are exposed to a variety of lab activities including engineering builds, hardware integration, and hardware verification. The PCAS organization provides a strong technical learning environment with a dedicated technology pyramid comprised of engineering fellows. PCAS engineers are provided the opportunity for direct access to these subject matter experts, fostering accelerated technical growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with CREO or 3D modeling tools
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mechani­cal or electrical design, engineering, and analysis.
  • Experience in manufac­turing methods and pro­cesses, including ma­chining, casting, forging, welding, and bonding.
  • Experience in mechani­cal drawing practices, dimensioning, and tolerancing.
