Kodak is looking for a mechanical engineering co-op to contribute to the development of our continuous inkjet technology and printing products. The mechanical engineering student will work with a mentor engineer in a multi-functional engineering team during alternate sessions in various engineering groups that could include research and development (R&D), product development, manufacturing, system integration, and system engineering. Our continuous inkjet technology provides the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary problems. Engineering co-op projects involve understanding and analyzing these problems and proposing design solution alternatives. The co-op will gain experience both in design and analysis methods as well as participate in laboratory/bench level testing and experimental techniques.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of continuous inkjet technology and printing products.
• Work with a mentor engineer in a multi-functional engineering team.
• Participate in various engineering groups including R&D, product development, manufacturing, system integration, and system engineering.
• Understand and analyze complex, multidisciplinary problems related to continuous inkjet technology.
• Propose design solution alternatives.
• Gain experience in design and analysis methods.
• Participate in laboratory/bench level testing and experimental techniques.
