About The Position

Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) is seeking a full-time mechanical engineer to support a variety of activities in the DEVCOM AvMC S3I Prototype Integration Facility (PIF). MSRC is a Huntsville-based Small Business specializing in providing full-spectrum defense system engineering, research, design, development, integration, test, evaluation, and planning services to the U.S. Government. Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years of experience in a technical working environment.
• Electrical cable assembly and test experience.
• Experience with precision, microscope assisted soldering techniques.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Python programming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and technical integration for Army aviation efforts throughout the acquisition life cycle.
• Support the integration and test of sensors and payloads for Army aviation platforms.
• Assess materiel performance and historical quality issues.
• Support program and technical reviews.
• Define and implement technical solutions to meet performance requirements.
• Travel to test sites as required.
