About The Position

Join our dynamic engineering team in Fremont, CA, as a Mechanical Engineer focused on the design, development, and validation of advanced semiconductor and wafer handling equipment. Requirements

• Proficiency with Creo or AutoCAD for 3D modeling and detail design
• Experience using PDM/PLM systems such as Agile, Windchill, or Team Center
• Solid understanding of BOM management and engineering documentation
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, machining, and casting
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional settings
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Nice To Haves

• Experience with semiconductor equipment, wafer handling systems (Load Ports, EFEM), or automation equipment
• Knowledge of SEMI standards and industry best practices

Responsibilities

• Drive product design and development using 3D CAD modeling and detailing
• Create and refine assembly and mechanism designs for complex systems
• Lead prototype builds and validation processes
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), releases, and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical, Firmware, and System Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration
• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing and suppliers, ensuring design intent and quality are met
• Apply manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, machining, and casting
• Implement engineering changes via ECR/ECO procedures using industry-standard tools
