About The Position

Support the development, operation, maintenance, and testing of DoD munition systems and other complex technology systems. Assist with the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of mechanical and electromechanical components and subsystems. Apply foundational engineering principles to perform analyses, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to portions of design or test efforts under senior engineers’ guidance. Participate in project tasks, investigate straightforward product or process issues, and support test execution and reporting.

Requirements

At least 1 year of mechanical engineering experience, including internships or academic projects.
Experience with engineering software tools such as CREO, Pro/E, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ANSYS.
Ability to perform basic engineering analysis on systems or components with guidance.
Ability to support development and execution of test plans and document results.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Nice To Haves

Experience fabricating or assembling components using shop tools or additive manufacturing processes.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary or complex team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Possession of a Secret clearance.
