About The Position
GDIT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Senior to join their team. The role involves designing mechanical equipment components using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and engineering drawings, as well as development planning, cost estimating, and documentation. The candidate will also handle manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services, and utilize MS Project and Matlab. Stress analysis and fabrication or machine shop skills are also required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of related experience
- Experience with MS Project, MATLAB, and proficient in the use of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
- Experience in stress analysis and mechanical equipment component design
- US Citizenship Required
