Mechanical Engineer
About The Position
Miller Newell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (3–7 years of experience) to support HVAC and plumbing design as we expand our presence in Northwest Arkansas. This role offers hands-on project involvement and direct collaboration with senior leadership in a growing regional office. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-7 years of relevant MEP design experience
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Nice To Haves
- PE preferred, EI’s on path to licensure considered.
- Plumbing design experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Revit.
- AutoCAD experience valued
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects
- Perform load calculations and equipment sizing
- Prepare construction documents and specifications
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and contractors
- Participate in site visits and construction administration
- Contribute to project meetings and client interactions
