Hallmark is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide technical skills in the design, development, and implementation of products, tooling, and manufacturing processes. This role blends hands-on mechanical engineering with strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and innovation that drives meaningful business impact. The ideal candidate is recognized as a strong mechanical engineering expert, and comfortable operating across product design, manufacturing, cost, and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or comparable engineering degree, with a graduation date of Dec 2026
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Experience with equipment and/or building maintenance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skill
Experience with SAP and/or Manhattan
Project management experience
Adept at seeing opportunities to improve upon the status quo and implementing solutions
Familiarity with Lean principles

Responsibilities

Own assigned mechanical design and engineering tasks for products, tooling, and production processes from concept through implementation
Develop performance specifications, design concepts, and future-state solutions that improve product quality, manufacturability, and operational efficiency
Create and maintain detailed drawings, models, and supporting technical documentation
Support production and quality teams by troubleshooting and resolving design- and process-related issues on existing products and equipment
Coordinate cross-functional activities with operations, quality, supply chain, vendors, and customers to meet project schedules and milestones
Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies and strategic partnerships that advance manufacturing and distribution capabilities
