About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry, specifically with experience in Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and related tools such as PCP, Gas Lift, or Rod Lift tools. This role involves sustaining engineering and product support, requiring a deep understanding of mechanical design principles and their application in a demanding environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Strong focus on sustaining engineering or product support.
• Experience with Mechanical Design.
• GD&T knowledge and application.
• CAD (SolidWorks) modelling and drafting.
• Experience making changes to products (updating BoMs, drawings, models) & working in a PDM system.
• Knowledge of Solid Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Threads, Erosion, Materials, Secondary Processes, Static and Dynamic Seal Applications, and Dynamics.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustaining engineering and product support for oil and gas equipment, with a focus on ESP systems.
• Perform mechanical design tasks, including updates to BoMs, drawings, and CAD models.
• Utilize GD&T knowledge and application in design and drafting.
• Work within a PDM system for product data management.
• Apply knowledge of Solid Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Threads, Erosion, Materials, Secondary Processes, and Static and Dynamic Seal Applications.
