Who You Are You have at least 3+ years of experience in HVAC system design, analysis and engineering You have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Having your FE is required. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1-2 years is preferred You have strong understanding of ASHRAE standards, IMC, IECC, and relevant mechanical codes You have experience preparing HVAC load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection You have ability to read and develop mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents, and have experience with air distribution and hydronic piping design, and familiar with mechanical equipment (air handlers, chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.) You have experience working with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines You are skilled in MS Office Proficiency with HVAC design software such as Revit and AutoCAD is a must You have ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines You have strong communication skills and technical writing skills What You’ll Do You will develop HVAC system design and calculations?various buildings using approved software You will select mechanical equipment and generate schedules You will prepare HVAC drawings, including relevant detail sheets and schedules under supervision You will assist with field surveys?of HVAC equipment and systems You will be responsible for Project CAD Coordination You will maintain project documentation,?including calculations, project filing, etc You’ll enjoy what you do.?You’ll work with great people, continue to learn and grow, and have a good time doing it Some of What You’ll Enjoy An excellent benefits package including 401K match and employee stock ownership, gym and transit subsidies, paid volunteer time off, parental leave, continuing education reimbursement and much more Flexible work scheduling in a fast-growing company A fun, inclusive, and collaborative environment Colleagues that appreciate differences in people, perspectives, cultures, and ideas The fruits of our employee-led committees focused on offering engaging social, wellness and community service activities all year long Starting salary is between $85,000 – $100,000 based on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants based on relevant years of experience.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3+ years of experience in HVAC system design, analysis and engineering
  • You have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
