This role is predominantly an on-site role, requiring the applicant to work full time in a small consultant-office environment, with an Architect, Civil, Electrical, Fire Protection, Structural Engineer, Construction Manager, support staff and interact with the government customers. Vance Air Force Base is like a college campus for future pilots in the Air Force. There are over 200 buildings on this campus, and each facility has an HVAC system that communicates with a central energy management and control system (EMCS). Systems routinely require upgrading and replacement through construction contracts associated with building repairs and renovations. The ASRC engineering office is an on-site office that is dedicated to the enduring mission of Vance Air Force Base. This position offers a variety-filled experience by providing a balanced mix of field investigation, collaboration with licensed mechanical technicians to solve unit problems and in-house design solutions.
