About The Position

Wisconsin Oven Corporation, located in East Troy, Wisconsin, has been designing, engineering, and manufacturing industrial ovens and other heating equipment since 1973. Our custom and standard industrial ovens are used for a multitude of applications including heat treating, finishing, drying, or curing. Wisconsin Oven customers cover a wide range of industries including aerospace/military, automotive, commercial heat treating, and energy/oil to name a few. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
three to five years of related experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.

Nice To Haves

Licensed Professional Engineer
Lean Manufacturing experience
Automation/Material handling design experience
AutoCAD Inventor desired, or experience with similar software.
PDM, CADLink, FEA, CFD and ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Stay current and informed of new developments in industry and new parts or processes to improve products.
Research, develop, and design industrial ovens and oven systems, meeting engineering standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, and within cost constraints.
Work with customers and vendors on equipment design.
Redesign standard products, improving quality and productivity, while reducing costs.
Evaluate and select components and parts for products.
Develop working relationships with Electrical Engineering and other departments to address and resolve issues.
Act as a technical resource for Sales, Aftermarket and Quality Assurance
Participate in cross functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
Occasionally travel to customer sites.
