Mechanical Engineer
About The Position
The Operations Engineer will support the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment within the steel pipe manufacturing facility. Depending on business needs, the engineer may be assigned to the ERW Pipe Mill, Heat Treat facility, or Stretch Reduction Mill, gaining exposure to a range of mechanical and industrial processes. This role provides hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, working closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability, process efficiency, and safe operations. The focus is on downtime reductions, maintenance and tooling optimization, and sustainable operations.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Ability to work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
