About The Position

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for its rapidly growing Energy Solutions offices. This division focuses on performance contracting and requires a self-motivated individual with a technical background capable of leading all phases of work. While the role is within performance contracting, engineers with strong HVAC design and commissioning experience can transition effectively into energy engineering. The entry-level engineer will work closely with and support the project manager in various tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
• Candidates must have current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
• Write reports on various aspects of the project
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
• Other duties as assigned
