About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Mechanical Engineer for its Guam office. The successful candidate will provide engineering support for a variety of design projects involving process piping, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems. Coffman Engineers serves as a prime consultant and subconsultant on projects across commercial, retail, institutional, government, industrial, and project/construction management sectors. Its multidisciplinary teams bring together civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, corrosion control, and commissioning professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years in the consulting engineering field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Nice To Haves

• Passed the FE exam.
• Internship experience at a mechanical consulting firm or in an industrial engineering environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or previous construction experience.
• Experience with Revit.
