About The Position

This role focuses on the development, fabrication, and installation of equipment, including custom design of manufacturing and packaging equipment with robotic integration. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building and maintaining professional relationships with coworkers and customers. Productivity is measured by the accuracy and efficiency of work completed within specific timeframes. The role involves ensuring project alignment and driving issues to resolution with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Entry Level to 2 years of experience in mechanical design of custom manufacturing equipment, utilizing custom and commercial mechanical elements.
Proficient use of 3-D Design Software (Autodesk Inventor and Solid Edge).
Experience in creating detailed design/fabrication drawing packages and BOM’s.
Experience in evaluation of mechanical tolerances and stack-ups.
Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM).
Minimum associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or comparable mechanical engineering internship.
Strong willingness and ability to communicate, cooperate, and work with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
Good personal interface skills to proactively identify and resolve any personnel issues.
Thorough understanding of how to execute projects quickly and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

Experience in fluid power design and control such as pneumatic and hydraulic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities
