Requirements

Is a membre of the OIQ
Holds a university degree in Mechanical Engineering
Has at least two years of relevant experience in project management
Demonstrates strong mechanical skills and knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficient in at least one CAD software (Catia V5, SolidWorks, Solidedge, Inventor, or Autocad)
Bilingual in English and French; a high percentage of communications are in English with international subsidiaries and clients. Frequent meetings with English-speaking partners
Shows autonomy, organization, leadership, and a strong sense of customer service
Willing and able to travel to client sites and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Coordinates design activities for development projects with the assigned team
Supervises project progress and informs the team manager of any delays or issues
Provides technical support to teams in the design, validation, and approval of concepts
Keeps technical documentation up to date, including calculations, testing, verification, and validation
Organizes and plans project-related activities while maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
Contributes to cost estimation, quote analysis, and supports the sales team in preparing proposals.
