This role will primarily focus on engineering and designing projects for Data Centers, Telecom, Federal/DoD, and other highly sophisticated facilities. Requirements

  • Proficiency in using engineering tools and software including Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks)
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering

  • Registration as EIT or PE preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop HVAC system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
  • Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for a variety of market types
  • Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systems
  • Perform Load/Energy calculations with a variety of software as dictated by Client standards
  • Write/edit project specifications
  • Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
  • Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
  • Complete code compliance research
  • Collaborate with teammates from other design disciplines to deliver a well-coordinated project
  • Provide construction administration services
  • Perform QA/QC of design work
