Our customers include AWS, JCI, Siemens, Trane, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Emerson, ABB, and many more of the best companies in the world. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and support of mechanical systems, enclosures, assemblies, and engineered solutions for customer projects and product development initiatives. This position develops mechanical designs that meet customer requirements while ensuring manufacturability, reliability, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Experience utilizing 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar design software required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, controls, or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
- Experience designing mechanical assemblies, enclosures, or industrial equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, enclosures, and related engineered solutions.
- Develop mechanical drawings, models, specifications, and bills of material.
- Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Support customer projects from concept through production release and project completion.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and engineering evaluations.
- Select appropriate materials, components, and hardware based on design requirements and project objectives.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to ensure proper integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations teams to support production, assembly, and issue resolution activities.
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations.
