About The Position

Serve as a key member of cross-functional project teams responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of Crane Nuclear products, test systems, and associated hardware and software solutions. Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and external suppliers to achieve project objectives and resolve technical issues. Design, develop, document, and maintain components, assemblies, test fixtures, engineering drawings, and bills of materials. Develop, execute, and document verification and validation activities for new products, product enhancements, and engineering changes. Design and implement test, calibration, and verification procedures to support product development, manufacturing, and field applications. Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action activities related to product performance, test systems, and customer-reported issues. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Crane Nuclear products, systems, and applications including MOV, AOV, and check valve diagnostic equipment. Support sustaining engineering activities, including product improvements, obsolescence management, issue resolution, and engineering change implementation. Maintain accurate technical records, project documentation, and engineering deliverables for assigned projects. Provide technical support to customers, internal stakeholders, and field service personnel, including participation in demonstrations, training, and technical presentations. Continuously expand technical expertise through self-development, training, and participation in industry-related activities. Requirements

• Mechanical engineering background
• Experience in product development, enhancement, and support
• Ability to coordinate activities across different departments and with external suppliers
• Proficiency in designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining components, assemblies, test fixtures, engineering drawings, and bills of materials
• Experience in developing, executing, and documenting verification and validation activities
• Skill in designing and implementing test, calibration, and verification procedures
• Experience with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action
• Working knowledge of Crane Nuclear products, systems, and applications (MOV, AOV, check valve diagnostic equipment)
• Experience with sustaining engineering activities (product improvements, obsolescence management, issue resolution, engineering change implementation)
• Ability to maintain accurate technical records and project documentation
• Experience providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders
• Willingness to participate in demonstrations, training, and technical presentations
• Commitment to continuous learning and technical expertise development
