About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide daily technical support for our production processes. This role involves troubleshooting, identifying root causes of issues, implementing corrective actions, and documenting follow-ups for areas such as automated testing, fluid fill, and AC charging equipment. The Mechanical Engineer will also support enhancements and improvements to processes, tooling, and equipment. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering fundamentals with ability to read drawings, technical documentation, and equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, written communication, and cross functional collaboration skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support of production including troubleshooting, root cause identification, corrective action implementation and documentation follow up of Assembly area or In Process Validation (IPV) areas with automated testing, fluid fill, and AC charging equipment.
• Support enhancements and improvements to process, tooling and equipment.
• Provides technical support for Assembly issues related to process and tooling or equipment.
• Documents, Implements and improves standard work.
• Balances workload across production bays to enable meeting production target.
• Collaborates with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Safety and Engineering on solutions.
