About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer will design and draft material handling equipment and runways. Essential functions include designing products such as overhead cranes, crane components, and runways, working with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans, and using computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product. The role also involves producing specifications for products, choosing raw materials and components for production, and performing quality checks using a total station or other equipment. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
• Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required
• Two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
