About The Position

AECOM is hiring a junior-level Mechanical Engineer for its Data Center and Mission Critical team in the east region. The role supports the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of mechanical systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. Under the guidance of senior engineers, the engineer helps ensure systems meet performance, reliability, energy-efficiency, and operational requirements. The position is primarily remote and may be based in a variety of U.S. locations where AECOM has an office. Occasional, advance-scheduled travel may be required for client meetings, project milestones, onsite collaboration, or other business-critical activities. Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office. Relocation and U.S. employment authorization sponsorship are not available. AECOM intends to fill this current vacancy by January 27, 2027.
