Job Summary: We are looking for a personable and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our multi-disciplined design team! The position will be hybrid within our Brookhaven office, assisting in the Design/Build division. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4+ years of design/engineering consulting experience required

Nice To Haves

P.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus

Responsibilities

Supervise projects to ensure they meet commitments related to time, quality, and communication.
Work directly with clients to establish project schedules and set expectations.
Assist market segment manager and team leader in manpower projections and scheduling of work.
Collaborate and assist with training/mentoring of mechanical engineering staff in the execution of specific projects to meet schedules and timely completion of projects.
Assist market segment manager and team leader in maintaining client base through various business development efforts.
Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents.
Assists in review of mechanical technical work for accuracy.
Ability to work well independently and as part of an experienced team.
Deal directly with clients/owners to assist with determining specific project needs.
Be responsible for the total mechanical systems design for specific projects.
