Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or plastics
Relevant experience of 1 to 3 years in the design or manufacture of plastic elements
Good knowledge of the principles of design and processing of plastic parts and a good understanding of mechanical principles, tolerancing, resistance of materials and product development
Be able to provide innovative solutions while optimizing quality, reliability and cost
Bilingualism (French and English) essential both orally and in writing

Nice To Haves

Experience in the design or manufacture of mechanical elements, an asset
Knowledge of Catia, finite elements (FEA) and other simulation tools, an asset

Responsibilities

Design, prototype, validate and put into production parts mainly related to bodywork and plastic structures of SSV vehicles using a rigorous development process
Perform studies, analyzes and calculations to guide the direction of projects and collaborators
Participate in the establishment of performance criteria, establish validation plans and ensure their execution
Collaborate with the Design, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality and Production teams in the different stages of the product development process
Participate in the documentation of knowledge related to its work
Develop the vision guiding the development of its systems on new platforms
