Mechanical Engineer (Modular Buildings)
About The Position
We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a fast‑growing modular‑building manufacturer in Henderson, NV. This role is ideal for engineers who want hands‑on design, rapid project cycles, and the satisfaction of seeing their work move from Revit → fabrication → installation in a fraction of the time of traditional construction. You’ll design and coordinate HVAC, mechanical, and building systems inside modular units, working closely with designers, fabricators, and installation teams to deliver build‑ready, efficient, repeatable systems. Relocation assistance available for candidates in NV, CA, AZ, and UT.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of mechanical building‑systems design
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Experience with commercial, multifamily, industrial, or modular/prefab projects
- Mechanical PE (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to relocate to the Las Vegas/Henderson area
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC/VRF, mechanical, and building systems for modular units
- Develop coordinated construction documents using Autodesk Revit
- Integrate MEP systems into modular building layouts
- Support fabrication and installation teams with technical guidance
- Participate in design reviews and QA checks
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system efficiency and repeatability
