About The Position

The Major Equipment Mechanical Engineer will support the estimating, specifying, designing, procurement, and construction of specialty and first-of-a-kind equipment such as gloveboxes, furnaces, high vacuum systems, and metal casting/machining equipment. This role involves creating design concepts using Pro/Engineer (CREO) CAD software and topology optimization software as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 10 years of relevant experience
• United States Citizenship
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading multi-discipline machine design efforts is preferred
• Experience producing build-to-print equipment fabrication packages is preferred
• CREO parametric experience is preferred
• Active Q preferred.
