About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer Level 1 is an exciting opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to turn engineering concepts into real-world solutions. In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, fabricators, and installers to help design, build, test, and improve the mechanical systems that support our growing biorefinery operations. You’ll gain practical experience across the engineering lifecycle—from developing designs and creating CAD models to supporting fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing equipment improvements. You’ll apply your mechanical engineering knowledge to solve technical challenges, evaluate system performance, and contribute ideas that improve safety, reliability, and functionality. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your technical skills while taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, collaborative engineering, and seeing designs move from concept to construction and operation. Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Internship, co-op, research, or project experience involving mechanical design, manufacturing, process equipment, piping systems, CAD modeling, or fabrication is preferred but not required. We’re looking for a motivated engineer who is organized, curious, and eager to learn. If you’re ready to build your engineering career while contributing to innovative industrial projects and working directly with the equipment and systems you help design, We’d like to hear from you.
