About The Position

OTTO Communications designs and manufactures two-way radio products for demanding and mission-critical applications. Its products are used by the military, law enforcement, public safety agencies, and retail and commercial customers worldwide. The Mechanical Engineer Intern supports the Engineering team for the Communications Division by carrying out a variety of engineering duties.

This is a 100% on-site internship for Summer 2027. The offered hourly rate is $18.00.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a mechanical engineering program and going into junior or senior year.
• Have 3D solid modeling experience.
• Have a strong desire to learn.
• Have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and/or revise 3D models or 2D drawings using CREO.
• Create Bills of Material.
• Create Engineering Change Notices.
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.
