About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering student to join our Airborne Sensor RF Design Mechanical Engineering team in McKinney, Texas. As an Engineering intern the responsibilities may include any aspects of the mechanical design process from concept generation to model / drawing completion to supporting product builds and test. You will work closely with product engineers from multiple disciplines to ensure support for program and factory requirements. Our multi-disciplined team consists of high-engaged members with a variety of experience. We offer growth opportunities, and recognizing contributions. This position is an Onsite role, where you will be working primarily in McKinney, Texas during Summer 2027.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing CREO
  • Completion of 1 internship and/or multi-month technical project in a related field
  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and/or tolerance analysis
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
