About The Position

This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2027. The role involves designing structures, assemblies, and mechanisms, performing detailed design and drafting work, supporting hardware procurement and testing, managing suppliers/subcontractors, and coordinating cross-functionally to mature designs.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Must be entering at minimum, their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2027.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
• Experience with Creo modeling and drafting
• Experience with Windchill and configuration management

Responsibilities
