CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Architectural Engineering students for its robust co-op program. This program offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves for one or more semesters in the consulting engineering world, building industry-competitive skills in a hands-on environment. Co-ops will work on a team, be trained by Professional Engineers in AutoCAD and Revit, and create real construction drawings for CMTA projects. This full-time (40 hrs./week), onsite position offers competitive hourly pay, overtime pay eligibility, and starts in May 2027 through Summer 2027 (dates flexible with school calendar). CMTA hopes that hired co-op students will complete multiple rotations and may be considered for full-time employment upon graduation. This position provides hands-on training in mechanical/HVAC/energy design, working with a team and independently. Engineers will teach students how to design and implement mechanical systems/infrastructure and energy-efficient measures in building projects, offering a great opportunity to work on challenging MEP projects and become an important part of the design team.
