The Mechanical Engineer will develop and support product designs, create and maintain engineering documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and testing challenges. Responsibilities include mechanical design, prototyping, analysis, design verification, and supporting the transition of products from development to production. What You Will Do: Develop designs, documentation creation and modification, production support Contribute to the success of a cross-functional team to develop solutions to production and field testing problems. This could include initial design, prototyping, and environment testing solutions. Develop and review product designs and analyze development and design requirements Design of test stations, fixtures, cables, interconnects and associated documentation Perform tolerance analysis Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers Plan and manage tasks effectively Facilitate documentation and drawings of mechanical designs from inception through release Specific tasks include enclosure structural design, thermal, vibration, other environmental considerations, design verification, prototype build and production transition to the factory.
