About The Position

Our Pennsauken team designs and builds the precision grinding and guidewire manufacturing equipment our customers depend on. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on real design, testing, and continuous improvement projects from day one - gaining hands-on exposure to the precision grinding and machining technologies that power our equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on design and engineering experience preferred (approximately 1-5 years); machine tool experience is a plus
  • SolidWorks experience required; CSWP or CSWE certification preferred
  • Experience with ASME Y14.5-2009 (or later) and GD&T principles
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 preferred; experience with advanced materials a plus
  • Strong interdisciplinary communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service

Nice To Haves

  • Machine tool experience is a plus
  • CSWP or CSWE certification preferred
  • Experience with advanced materials a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop new designs and documentation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009 and GD&T standards, using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
  • Support manufacturing efforts of machinery and tooling
  • Provide technical support to field service technicians and customers as needed
  • Create and maintain bills of material (BOM) in the ERP system
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior engineers, production, and quality to bring solutions from concept to the shop floor
