About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer I develops mechanical designs for products and works with the operations team to integrate them. The role develops mechanical designs and performs analyses for systems, products, or subsystems of limited complexity, generally within one functional area, under the guidance of a more-senior engineer. The engineer begins acquiring product-domain knowledge and learning to use internal mechanical processes and tools. This is an individual-contributor position working under the direction of technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in cross-functional teams.
• Keen aptitude for technical work spanning multiple levels of detail.
• Ability to work successfully in team-centric environments.
• Ability to manage relationships and network.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
