Comfort Systems USA Ohio is growing its Cincinnati team and is looking for a knowledgeable, practical, and customer-focused Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Hydronics to support the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and surrounding metro area. This role is ideal for a mechanical/HVAC engineering professional who enjoys being close to the work, partnering with sales and operations, and helping customers understand the best path forward for their mechanical systems. As the Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Hydronics, you will serve as the engineering expert in the room. You will partner closely with Sales, Project Managers, Estimators, Foremen, Supervisors, and field teams to evaluate customer needs, assess existing HVAC and hydronic systems, and develop practical engineered solutions for construction, retrofit, replacement, and design-build opportunities. This is not a traditional engineering role where your work stays on paper. You will help shape customer solutions by providing technical guidance on commercial HVAC systems, hydronic systems (including chilled water, hot water, and steam), boilers, pumps, cooling towers, piping, ventilation, system upgrades and replacements, retrofit and design-build opportunities, energy efficiency and performance improvements, and long-term building reliability.
