We’re seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer EIT to support the design, analysis, detailing, and quality assurance of mechanical systems for diverse building projects. The ideal candidate has foundational experience in mechanical engineering and works well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to help ensure mechanical designs meet quality standards, applicable codes, and client expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering & EIT certification by NCEES.
- pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer)
- acceptable background check results
- obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations
Responsibilities
- Design, model, and analyze mechanical systems using Revit Software
- Support the design and quality assessment of mechanical systems
- Develop the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire control systems
- Perform field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as needed
- Maintain and foster relationships with existing clients on any projects they have been assigned which includes meeting all client requirements and deadlines
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, designers, and departments to ensure design feasibility and compliance with regulatory requirements
