About The Position
The Engineering Co-op supports the Engineering Department on projects involving components for nuclear power plants and the U.S. Navy. Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the co-op assists with design analysis, equipment qualification procedures and testing, and assembly and testing of pressure relief devices. This is a 40-hour-per-week co-op running from July to December at Emerson's Mansfield, Massachusetts location. The hourly pay is $24–$28, depending on the candidate's year in school and experience.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from July to December in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with valves.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
