About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 2 to join our team. This role will execute key project tasks to support the component design engineer, acting as a key point of contact for print work (detailing & releasing) and CAD design work. You will support new component design with APQP collaboration work with external suppliers and help ensure customer success by correcting product problems. Requirements

• Engineering or Engineering Technology Bachelor’s degree required
• 0-4 years of experience
• Basic understanding of gas and/or diesel engine operation
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Creo / Teamcenter knowledge
• Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree considered
• Strong data analysis skills
• Strong communication skills (ability to work with a global team)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well independently / collaborative member of a cross functional team
• Large gas and/or diesel troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of engine product configuration
• Proficiency working with computers and computer systems. Software programs used frequently include, but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Creo, Team Center

Responsibilities

• Executing key project tasks to support the component design engineer
• Key point of contact for print work (detailing & releasing) and CAD design work
• Supporting new component design with APQP collaboration work with external suppliers
• Helping to ensure customer success by correcting product problems
• Print work, component modeling, APQP, TFC, tolerance stack-up, deviation investigation, parts inspection
