Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant engineering experience; EIT designation preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Demonstrated customer‑focused approach in all interactions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Mining or construction field experience preferred
• Experience in the engineering, consulting, or mining industry considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in the design of mining systems
• Design and layout of mechanical and process equipment, including conveyors, hoists, and related systems using 2D and 3D tools
• Design and layout of piping systems for both surface and underground infrastructure
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams

Benefits

• The salary range for this role is between $61K - $82K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
