About The Position

The Mechanical Drafter 3 supports mechanical design teams on Oil & Gas and Power projects by preparing and modifying detailed CAD drawings and 3D layout deliverables, incorporating engineering markups, and helping develop physical design packages. The role works with multidisciplinary teams to create mechanical physical layouts in a 3D model environment and applies company and project drafting standards while meeting project plans, schedules, deadlines, priorities, and budget constraints. The position has a hybrid arrangement: three days per week in the office and two days working remotely. The role requires effective communication with project team members and careful preparation of accurate, timely deliverables. Employees may use data, automation, artificial intelligence, and other digital tools where relevant, while exercising professional judgment and reviewing technology-assisted work. Sargent & Lundy does not sponsor U.S. work authorization for this position.
