About The Position

Körber is seeking a Mechanical Designer - Team Lead to join their innovative and collaborative team. This role involves leading a team of designers, contributing to the development of future technologies, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the automation field. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive team environment, drive performance, and uphold the company's vision while managing team responsibilities and project updates.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in mechanical design in automation or related field
• Two years of FAI design engineering experience
• Moderate skill level in Pro/Engineer software
• Capable of designing new concepts and standards
• Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3-6 month time span
• Great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to travel 10% of the year
• Troubleshooting skills, both mechanical and electrical
• Must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.; this position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship

• Assist with hiring team members
• Support completion of team member performance evaluations
• Contribute with team member development
• Assign work schedule to team members
• Listen to team members’ feedback and help resolve any issues or conflicts
• Encourage a supportive team environment

• Uphold the vision of the company
• Be accountable for their team’s efforts
• Support internal design review activities
• Support on project status updates to management
• Ensure confidential company information is not communicated to unauthorized parties
• Take reasonable measures to ensure confidential information is not released
• Maintain a high level of disciplinary action to prevent unauthorized information release
• Keep information on employees of Körber Pharma US confidential and share only with authorized individuals
