About The Position

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Custom Equipment Group (CEG) with projects and routine Engineering tasks, such as: mechanical design of new equipment, documentation updates for provisional standards and preventative maintenance, new equipment assembly and design updates to current equipment. You will join an Engineering team, comprised of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Technicians, to help support initiatives within CEG. You will gain an understanding of traditional mechanical engineering activities necessary to support production, while also being given responsibility to perform tasks that will help you build your own Engineering skillset. Our team’s success is crucial to the growth and continuous improvement of the Warroad location.

Requirements

• Pursuing degree in Engineering, or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Eagerness to ask questions and talk through details you don’t understand
• Ability to apply technical skills learned in school to real-world applications
• Willingness to learn new skills, software, and procedures as they pertain to mechanical design and implementation
• Responsibility for clocking in and out each day
