About The Position

At UE Manufacturing, the Mechanical Design Engineer contributes to projects that progress from concept and analysis through manufacturing. The role develops heavy equipment and industrial products, works with engineering and operations teams, and addresses practical technical challenges affecting quality, delivery, and customer outcomes. It is suited to an experienced mechanical design engineer who can own design details, collaborate with shop teams and customers, and convert three-dimensional concepts into production-ready designs. The engineer creates and modifies mechanical models and drawings, supports system design and testing, coordinates mechanical and electrical integration, and manages engineering changes and project documentation. The position involves working with internal teams and external stakeholders, occasionally traveling to customer sites, vendors, and other company facilities.
