About The Position
This position is for a mechanical design engineer. The candidate will be required to perform mechanical and harness routing design activities for the installation of flight test equipment and data system components. The candidate will be responsible for releasing engineering drawings, work instructions, supporting airworthiness documentation, monitoring fabrication activities, and supporting aircraft modification.
Requirements
- ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of CATIA V5 experience
- 3-5 years of 2D/3D mechanical design experience in an aerospace environment
- US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with instrumentation (flight or ground) preferred
- Previous experience with the F-35 program-specific tools and processes
- Mechanical and Electrical Systems
- 6+ years
