About The Position

Advance CNC Machining is seeking a highly competent Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing $20 million company. The company specializes in producing high precision machined parts for customers nationwide, serving industries such as equipment manufacturing, food, drug, aerospace, and defense. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for providing accurate designs and analysis, embodying accountability, resourcefulness, and humility. This role is crucial for helping the company keep up with rapidly rising demand.

Requirements

• Advanced Knowledge of mechanical engineering gained from a bachelor’s degree or other education and experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and excel at problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge from relevant experience, such as manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, and project management

Responsibilities

• Analysis of sample parts and machinery
• Interpretation of technical design information
• Design of parts and mechanical assemblies as per customer requirements
• Creation of CAD models, engineering drawings, and inspection plans for manufacturing
• Collaboration with customers, vendors, and other team members
