About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Project Manager to manage commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M in scope. The Project Manager will maintain accurate labor projections and produce reliable forecasts of project financial performance while actively managing work through all phases of execution. This role involves regular meetings with management to review project status, schedules, and key milestones, and participation in turnover meetings for seamless transitions. Collaboration with engineers, field leadership, suppliers, and other subcontractors is essential for coordinating installation activities and ensuring successful project outcomes. This is a hands-on role that influences financial performance and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality expectations. Customer follow-up support is also part of the role, benefiting from a unified team structure with collaborative support from Purchasing, Drafting, and Collections.

Requirements

  • Prior construction project management or sales experience with plumbing and HVAC related projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Basic understanding of design.
  • Strong understanding of how to put together a disciplined estimate.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
